Jonathan Kellerman, David Rigler, Stuart E. Siegel, Kathleen McCue, Jill Pospisil and Roger Uno

University of Southern California School of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics, and Children's Hospital of Los Angeles

A type of "laminar air flow" room used in minimizing infections in children with certain types of cancer is described. A current study of the effects of this room, including psychosocial components, is outlined.
