ERRATUM

Abstract

In the No. 4. 1977 issue of the Journal of Pediatric Psychology appeared an article by Magda Campbell, et al. "Current Status of Drug Research and Treatment with Autistic Children." The following corrections to the version printed there should be made: In Table 1. on p. 155, under the heading LITHIUM, in the fifth column the correct version is "Wilcoxon matched-pairs signed ranks test: Mann-Whitney U-Test: matched-pair t-Test." On p. 156 under the heading "Diagnosis. Classification. and Subgroups." the correct version is "NYU's Children's Psychopharmacology Unit." On p. 158. right hand column, paragraph two. line two, the correct reference is "(Campbell, Fish. Shapiro. & Floyd. 1971b)." On p. 158, right hand column, paragraph eu under the heading "Neuroleptics" the drug Molindone should be referred to as "a dihydroindolone." On p. 159. right hand column, the third sentence should read. "Drugs reported to have an effect in autistic children. e.g. haloperidol, decrease high rate behaviori, e.g. stereotypies and hyperactivity, and have some effect on low rate behaviors. e.g. prosocial behavior." On p. 160, one of the references should be corrected to read: "Campbell. M. Small. A. M. Hollander. C. S., Korein, .1. Cohen. I. L., Kalrnijn. M., & Ferris, S. A controlled crossover study of triiodothyronine in young psychotic children. Journal of Autism and Childhood Schizophrenia. in press.
